360° footage in.
Splats out.
Software for automatically training 3D Gaussian splats from 360° video or image sequences. Runs entirely locally — everything stays on your computer.
Examples
Interactive scans trained with 360 Gaussian Pro — drag to look around.
The pipeline
01
Extract
Use raw dual-fisheye footage from Insta360 or DJI Osmo, stitched 360° equirectangular material — or plain 2D video.
02
Masking
Mask automatically with SAM3 and keywords, use custom masks for fisheye cameras, or paint masks by hand.
03
Alignment
A custom source build of COLMAP with GLOMAP support, vocab-tree loop detection and CUDA-accelerated Ceres.
04
Train
Add LichtFeld Studio, Postshot or Brush to the pipeline — or take the training data to any other 3D Gaussian splat trainer.
Features
Input 360° material
Insta360 X4, X5 and X6 and DJI Osmo 360 dual-fisheye, Antigravity A1, DJI Avata 360 — plus equirectangular, flat video and photos.
Automatic pipeline
Extract, mask, align and train — every step runs on its own, or adjust each one yourself. Queue multiple processes overnight.
Custom COLMAP workflow
Self-built COLMAP with GPU bundle adjustment (Caspar + cuDSS), CUDA-accelerated Ceres, vocabulary-tree matching and the GLOMAP global mapper.
Add detail photos
Add enhancement photos from a smartphone, DSLR or drone to the main 360° dataset.
Local & unlimited
Everything runs on your own machine — nothing is uploaded. No limits on how many clips or how much footage you process.
Masking with SAM3
Use keyword detection and the fisheye preset, add your own custom masks, or paint parts by hand.

Frequently asked questions
Which 360 cameras are supported?
Insta360 X4, X5 and X6 and DJI Osmo 360 dual-fisheye footage, Antigravity A1 and DJI Avata 360 — plus equirectangular video, flat video and photos from any camera.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10/11 (64-bit) with an NVIDIA RTX GPU — RTX 20-series or newer, 12 GB VRAM recommended — NVIDIA driver R580 or newer, and 16 GB+ RAM. AMD and Intel graphics are not supported. COLMAP, FFmpeg and ExifTool are built in; nothing else to install.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The free trial needs no sign-in and handles small room scans, limited to 14 frames.
Do I need to use the command line?
No. 360 Gaussian Pro is a guided desktop pipeline — extract, mask, align and train — where every step runs automatically or can be adjusted in the UI.
What output do I get, and which trainers can use it?
A sparse COLMAP model — camera poses plus a sparse point cloud — ready for Postshot, LichtFeld or any 3D Gaussian splatting trainer that reads a COLMAP dataset. You also get the extracted pinhole splits and their masks, so you can bring them into other alignment software.
Is my footage uploaded to the cloud?
No. Everything runs locally on your machine; nothing is uploaded.
How much does it cost?
There is a free trial, a one-week subscription for €20 that does not auto-renew, a one-year subscription for €89, and a €149 one-time purchase with free updates for all v1.x releases. Every paid plan includes two seats.
How many computers can I use my license on?
Two. Every purchase — subscription or one-time — includes two seats, so one key can be active on two machines at once. To move a license, open the License dialog in the app and click Deactivate this machine, then activate on the other computer. You can also release a seat from the Polar customer portal, which is where your key, invoices and payment method live.
What does the one-time purchase include?
A perpetual license for version 1: every 1.x update is free and the key never expires. Version 2 will be a separate purchase, and existing owners will be offered upgrade pricing. If you skip it, your version 1 builds stay fully licensed forever.
Can I use the results commercially?
Yes. You own your footage and everything you reconstruct, and we claim no rights to it. One restriction carries over from Meta's Segment Anything model used for masking: no military or warfare, nuclear, espionage, or weapons use. See the Licensing page for the details.
About the developer
I'm a solo developer who started building this software for my own need: fast, batch-processed 3DGS scans of film locations for virtual location scouting. My other ongoing project is gaussianscout.com — explore the scans and try camera emulation. The first version where it all started is free if you want to try that first, but you get better results with the Pro version. Questions or feedback? Join the Discord.
